German Lebkuchen-Inspired Spice Cookies

Soft spiced honey cookies with citrus and nuts.

Ingredients

• 2 cups flour
• 1/2 cup honey
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon cloves
• 1/2 teaspoon ginger
• 1/2 cup chopped nuts
• 1 teaspoon orange zest

Directions

1. Mix all ingredients into a soft dough.
2. Chill 30 minutes.
3. Scoop onto lined baking sheets.
4. Bake at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes.
