Rustic Farmhouse Lemon Poppy Cake

A rustic farmhouse take on lemon poppy cake, built around garlic, thyme, onion, and butter.

Ingredients

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 3 eggs
• 1/2 cup butter or oil
• 1 cup lemon
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon or complementary spice

Directions

1. Heat oven to 350°F and grease a cake pan.
2. Whisk dry ingredients together.
